Grandi novità in arrivo con la prossima edizione delle World Series Of Poker: il nuovo calendario degli eventi è stato ufficialmente annunciato nella giornata di ieri, 57 eventi e 57 braccialetti(come nell’edizione di quest’anno) saranno messi in palio per i partecipanti e sarà introdotto un nuovo evento High Stakes in formato 8-games.

La grande novità rispeto all’evento di quest’anno è sicuramente rappresentata dal nuovo format “Player’s Championship” buy-in 50,000$ dedicato al grande Chip Reese: i partecipanti dovranno dimostrare la loro abilità nel Limit Hold’em, Omaha High-Low Split-8 or Better, Seven Card Razz, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split – 8 or Better, No Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, e 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball.

Il tavolo finale invece, per esigenze televisive, sarà giocato No-Limit Hold’em e avrà  completa copertura da parte dell’ESPN: sicuramente vista la complessità  dell’evento e il buy-in elevato sarà un final table composto solo da grandi nomi del Poker internazionale.

Altri 6 eventi dal buy-in di 1,000$ sono stati aggiunti e c’è un altro evento che sicuramente attrarrà l’attenzione di molti rounders di tutto il mondo: No-Limit Hold’em Six Max da 25,000$ buy-in, oltre a uncampionato Heads’up da 10,000$.

Jack Eiffel ha dichiarato:”Abbiamo cercato di venire incontro alle esigenze dei giocatori; abbiamo coperto tutti i tipi di gioco e qualunque sia il vostro bankroll sicuramente troverete un evento che fa al caso vostro. Stiamo cercando di prepararci per accogliere un numero record di giocatori al Rio nella prossima estate”.

Come lo scorso anno la manifestazione terminerà con il Main Event da 10,000$ buy-in che inizierà il 5 Luglio e andrà avanti fino al 17 Luglio; per il tavolo finale invece bisognerà avere pazienza e attendere il mese di Novembre(dal 6 al 9), quest’anno ai giocatori iscritti al Main Event sarà assegnato un giorno di partenza per evitare le problematiche insorte lo scorso Luglio che obbligarono circa 500 persone a non partecipare all’evento a causa della raggiunta capacità massima.
